WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

Having assessed the Equine retirement market, we find that we are unlike most retirement centres in that we provide a much higher level of care for your horse, whether Stabled or out at grass .

All of our horses are properly checked over twice a day and groomed or brushed once a day, they also have such things as sun cream, hoof dressings (keratex or Kevin Bacon), fly spray and fly masks applied should they be necessary at no extra charge.

The Smallest detail is taken care of as if they were our own, yet still at a very competitive rate.

We do not believe in turning competition horses out to grass and glancing at them now and again as if they were native ponies, who evolved to live in a feral state, where only the toughest survive.

We also take great care to ensure that all horses truly are in amicable groups enabling them to relax free from bullying, generally pairing works well as too many to a shelter can cause problems.

We find it hugely rewarding to watch how quickly the horses settle into their new laid back lifestyle, from TB eventers and international dressage horses to family ponies, all of our horses seem to sense the tranquillity and relax almost instantly! Meaning that as an owner you too can relax safe in the knowledge that your horse is happy and well cared for.
